Rental Terms.

1. Introduction

These terms govern the relationship between the lessor (Let IT Bee, s.r.o., Company ID 24205095, registered address Břehová 40/1, 110 00 Praha 1; hereinafter "Glowbee") and the lessee (a natural person aged 18 or over, or a legal entity; hereinafter "Lessee"). By completing a booking the Lessee confirms they have read and agree to these terms. The agreement is governed by §2201 et seq. of the Czech Civil Code No. 89/2012 Coll.

2. Subject of rental

The subject of rental is LED face masks and red and infrared light panels as listed in the Glowbee catalogue. The specific device, serial number and condition are recorded in a Handover Protocol provided to the Lessee upon collection.

3. Price & payment

  • The rental price corresponds to the current price list on glowbee.cz at the time of booking.
  • Rental is paid upfront by card (Stripe). An invoice is issued automatically within 24 hours of payment.
  • A deposit equal to the full value of the device is held as a card pre-authorisation. No money is debited from the Lessee's account.
  • The deposit hold is released immediately upon return of the device in good condition (normally within 24 hours of inspection).

4. Device hygiene preparation

Between lessees every device goes through a three-stage hygiene process:

  1. wipe-down with healthcare-approved disinfectant (quaternary ammonium compounds),
  2. UV-C sterilisation at 254 nm for at least 180 seconds,
  3. replacement of the inner silicone liner on masks (the liner is in direct skin contact and belongs exclusively to the current Lessee).

A Hygiene Preparation Certificate is enclosed with the device.

5. Lessee's obligations

  • Use the device only as described in the manual.
  • Not lend the device to third parties.
  • Not interfere with the construction, firmware or supplied accessories.
  • Store the device when not in use away from moisture, extreme temperatures and visible access by unauthorised persons.
  • Notify Glowbee promptly (within 24 h) of any fault, damage, loss or theft.

6. Liability for damage, loss or theft

The Lessee bears full material liability for the device from the moment of collection until its proper return to Glowbee.

  • Normal wear (minor scratches, LED performance reduction consistent with the period of use) — not charged.
  • Serious damage from misuse (broken electronics, cracked silicone, liquid damage, drop damage) — repair or replacement costs are deducted from the deposit proportionally.
  • Loss or theft — the Lessee must immediately file a police report and provide Glowbee with the official document. The deposit is forfeited to Glowbee in full.
  • Failure to return on time — the Lessee pays a contractual penalty equal to twice the daily rate for each commenced day of delay.

Glowbee recommends that the Lessee check whether their home contents insurance covers rented property — Glowbee will assist with any claim if needed.

7. Personal data

Glowbee processes personal data (name, delivery address, email, phone, ID number for identity verification at collection) solely for the purpose of fulfilling the contract, invoicing and rental-related communication. Data is not shared with third parties. See Privacy Policy for details.

8. Withdrawal & cancellation

  • The Lessee may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of collection without giving a reason. The device must be returned in its original condition at the Lessee's expense; the unused pro-rata rental is refunded minus a hygiene preparation fee of 500 CZK.
  • Cancellation before delivery: free of charge up to 48 hours before the scheduled delivery; after that Glowbee charges 500 CZK to cover logistics costs.

9. Device complaints

If the device shows a functional fault at collection or during the rental, Glowbee will — upon notification within 24 hours — either exchange the device or withdraw from the contract with a full refund of unused rental. The Lessee bears no financial liability for faults they demonstrably did not cause.

10. Final provisions

These terms form part of every rental agreement concluded via glowbee.cz. Glowbee may unilaterally update the terms — updated versions apply only to newly concluded agreements. Any disputes shall be resolved by the competent court in Prague.
